For the past 9 months I have been intensively studying Google SEO and one of the main contributors to my learning has been Matt Cutts. For those of you that don’t know who Matt is, he is currently the head of Google’s WebSpam team, and therefore would know almost anything and everything to know about SEO when it comes to Google.
Now at a lot of companies (dare I say, most companies) the executives stay hidden away, locked in their offices, sequestered in their boardrooms and have very little to do with the commoners (that would be me) that actually use their service or product.
Not Matt Cutts!
I have found Matt to be one of the most accessible and friendly Executives I have ever come in contact with. He provides regular YouTube updates on Google SEO questions (like many, many updates) in a very easy going and approachable manner.
Love Matt Cutts on YouTube.
OK, maybe he’s not following me on Twitter yet. But I’m pretty sure he is just waiting to get down from that big Kilimanjaro mountain thing he’s doing.
@nancimurdock You can do it Matt!
I am posting this today because I have been working so hard with so many different sources (e-books, websites, video tutorials, coaching) to nail this whole SEO thing and while I was 90% sure I had most of it down (and let’s be honest, it comes down to ranking – and I am ranking!), but I just needed that extra boost of confirmation. And thanks to @gurubob on Twitter for tweeting about the interview Matt Cutts gave this week on WordPress radio. Loved it.
Matt nailed every question I could have had and then some.
And I’m happy to say that all of the SEO information I have given in the past month is actually correct! Who knew?!
So check out what I had to say about SERPS, Clean URLs, Google Keyword(s), and all things Google SEO and then listen to this interview with the amazing…
